What facial products do I currently use?

I thought I would write a short post on what I am currently using.  When I find something that I fall in love with, I want to share it with you. :-)

I am still using up some mineral fusion products that I have, though I will not be purchasing anything further from them.  They are not as clean as they could be.

My new love is LimeLight by Alcone.  This company started as a professional makeup company for the hollywood stars.  Later the idea was hatched to bring these products to everyone.

The following paragraph is from their webpage.  It says it all as to who they are.

"It takes less than a minute for chemicals from skin care products to get into your blood stream. That is why we set out to develop a super effective, free of harmful chemicals skin care line. This line produces such significant results that women all over the country are switching to LimeLight and not only are they looking better on the outside, they are healthier on the inside as well."

So far I have used and love.....
Mascara---AMAZING!!!
Dream clean cleanser
Calm Balm (my face has NEVER been softer)
Foundation-light feel, love!
Skin polish (I need to slow down enough to use this)

And I am getting ready to try Forty cure creme and Must dew.

If you are interested, one of my best friends sells LimeLight and you can check out their products at www.deblye.com

If you try LimeLight post here what you think!

Stay GREEN!
Blessings,

  1. Hi Kerri!

Thank you so much for all this great info, I really appreciate it! So the LimeLight makeup products are all made toxin free and with clean ingredients, correct? I am considering transitioning to this product line as I currently use MaryKay and have read your posts and evidence about the ingredients they use. It is just so sad! I do not want to be introducing these harmful ingredients into my body.

    Thank you!

    1. Hello!

Yes. LimeLight is.... No Parabens, phthalates, SLS, or dyes. It is also Leaping Bunny certified. Which is not an easy certification to receive.

My friend Debbie's LimeLight website is deblye.com

Please let her or me know if you have any questions.

      Keep staying GREEN!

  2. Hi Kerri!

Is there a way to get a small sample of the LimeLight foundation from your friend who sells them to determine which color I would be?

    Thank you!

    1. Absolutely! Either find Deborah Lye on Facebook and pm her or email her at deb9@sbcglobal.net

There is a great questionnaire she can send you that you go through to narrow down which shades are best for you. And I LOVE their foundation too!!

      Stay GREEN!

  3. I looked at limelight lipstick at your link and saw it has ingredients that include aluminum. I'm confused...

    1. Hello. Which ingredient are you referring to? I just looked at all of the lipsticks and I don't see any aluminum in the ingredients list.
